Crow comes back to say thank you after family saves its life

Dana Bryce and his fiancée were cleaning up their deck when they heard a flock of crows making a lot of noise. They went to investigate and found a baby crow lying on the ground.

The small creature seemed to be struggling, so they decided to take him inside and nurse him back to health.

"We kept him warm in a bin with some newspaper and grass with water and fed him every half hour," Bryce told The Dodo.

The little bird, whom they named Oscar, recovered and was soon ready to return to the wild.

Bryce and his fiancée had grown attached to the sweet animal, but they knew he would be better off in the wild.

With heavy hearts, they finally said goodbye to Oscar.

What they didn't expect is that the crow would soon come back to visit!

After only a day and a half, Oscar returned to his rescuers!

The crow flew onto the terrace, screaming as loud as she could and dancing around the Bryces before starting to cuddle with them – as if he wanted to say thank you.

More than 3.3 million people have liked the TikTok video of the emotional reunion.

"If that isn’t genuine excitement to see a friend I don’t know what is. What a cool thing to see," one user wrote. "He had such big stories to tell you guys," another said.

To this day, Oscar visits his rescuers every day and has already become a fixture in the Bryce family.

He's even friend with the family cat, another TikTok video shows.
