Over the weekend, the 23-year-old entrepreneur shared a photo of her makeup artist, Samuel Rauda, to her Instagram story, asking fans to "say a prayer for Sam" and swipe up to find his family's GoFundMe campaign.

"May God watch over you and protect you Makeup By Samuel," beauty mogul Kylie wrote.

The celebrity makeup artist, who also works for stars like Bella Thorne, got into a serious car accident and "underwent major surgery" on March 14, according to the GoFundMe.

The goal is currently set at $120,000, and is supposed to "cover the cost of his medical expenses and whats to come."

Within six days, the family has raised $99,000, of which Kylie herself has reportedly donated $5,000.

Many people were outraged that last year's highest-paid celebrity, who has an estimated net worth of $900 million, according to Forbes, had the audacity to ask her fans to donate to a cause she could fund herself.

Several users expressed their anger over Twitter. See some of the most viral responses below.

Kylie Jenner gets slammed by Twitter

"Her makeup artist apparently needs $60k. Kylie Jenner paying that would be like someone with $100k net worth sparing $6.72 to pay off a friend's medical bills," writer Charlotte Clymer wrote on Twitter.

"In other words, paying off her friend's medical bills would be like a buying a premium latte for Jenner."

The Kylie Cosmetics founder herself has yet to respond to the backlash.
