In a video interview with The New York Times, the 41-year-old talked about abuse she experienced under the guise of a cervical exam at the boarding school she was sent to as a teen.

"Very late at night. This would be around 3 or 4 in the morning. They would take myself and others girls into this room, and they would preform medical exams," Hilton said.

She insisted that those performing the "exams" weren't medical professionals, "it was a couple of different staff members who would have us lay on the table and put their fingers inside of us."

Hilton's voiced wavered as she told her story, "I don’t know what they were doing, but it was definitely not a doctor. And it was really scary, and it’s something that I really had blocked out for many years."

The socialite said, "it’s coming back all the time now, and I think about it. And now, looking back as an adult, that was definitely sexual abuse."

Paris Hilton's parents sent her to the school in Utah when she was 17. She was there for just under a year before returning to New York.

The reality star has previously opened up about her experiences at the school in the 2020 documentary This is Paris.

In 2021, Hilton's testimony helped create a law in Utah meant to create more oversight over "troubled teen" facilities like the one she attended.

Hilton also took to Twitter Tuesday, to further detail her experience and condemn Universal Health Services, the group that took over management of the troubled teen facilities like the one Paris attended.

The star explained that she's speaking out because she wasn't alone in the abuse she suffered: "This was a recurring experience not only for me but for other #survivors. I was violated & I am crying as I type this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused. My childhood was stolen from me & it kills me this is still happening to other innocent children."

"It's important to open up about these painful moments so I can heal & help put an end to this abuse," she added.
