Carrollton, Georgia - While several children between the ages of seven and eight were sitting in the classroom, their substitute teacher did something unimaginable – she began masturbating in front of them!

Amelia Ressler is 30 years old. Until recently, she worked as a substitute teacher at Mt. Zion Elementary School in Georgia.

Now, she is in custody at the Carroll County Jail and has been charged with 19 counts of child abuse – one count for each child present during the act.

As police confirmed on Friday, February 5, Ressler was arrested for masturbating in a packed classroom.

But that's not all: to make matters worse, the 30-year-old decided to film it and share it on the internet.

This decision proved to be her undoing. An acquaintance recognized her and immediately reported the incident to the school administration.

The school then turned to local authorities, and Amelia Ressler was arrested shortly thereafter.

It is still unclear whether the children saw what Ressler was doing in their presence or whether they were able to understand what was going on.

In the meantime, the video has been taken offline, and the evidence has been seized by the police.

Ressler was considered a really popular teacher. One student's mother told FOX 5: "My daughter had been bragging about the substitute, said they were having lots of fun, they played a lot of games."

Amelia Ressler is in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
