Cleveland, Ohio - After five seasons and playoff berths with the Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a hot steal.

In a huge trade exchange for Mitchell, the Utah Jazz will receive the Cavaliers' Lauri Markkanen, Ochai Agbaji, and Collin Sexton, as well as Cleveland's unprotected first-round picks in 2025, 2027, and 2029, and pick swaps for the 2026 and 2028 seasons, as per reports.

Mitchell, a three-time All-Star who will turn 26 next week, will join the young talented group of Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen as a part of the franchise's roster re-build.

The shooting guard is said to be contracted with Cleveland for the next three seasons.

One of the most dangerous outside shooters in the league, the athlete quickly became the face of the Utah Jazz after a massive rookie season, averaging 20.5 points and 3.7 assists per game in 2018.

Throughout his career as a Jazz, Mitchell averaged 23.9 points, 4.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field.

Mitchell is expected to make a huge impact on the court for the Cavaliers as one of the top NBA offensive players.
