A ticket stub from his first-ever college basketball game as a UNC Tar Heel just hit the auction block, and it's believed to be the only one in existence.

The extremely rare item is from the November 1981 UNC vs. Kansas game, which was Jordan's debut on head coach Dean Smith's Tar Heels basketball team.

The tattered and torn ticket has been given a "poor 1" rating. But since it's believed to be the only surviving stub from that night, it could be worth a small fortune.

Experts at Heritage Auctions have said the ticket stub could go for over $10,000. As of Monday, the current bid is $7,250.

Jordan ticket stubs have become increasingly popular in the world of sports collectibles. In February, a Chicago Bulls stub from his 1984 debut – one of 23 available – sold for $99,000. The only full ticket from the same game sold for $468,000.

The 59-year-old's time at UNC was nothing short of legendary. During the 1982 NCAA Championship against the Georgetown University Hoyas, Jordan made the game-winning shot as the clock expired.

In his three seasons with the Tar Heels, the basketball great averaged 17.7 points per game and shot 54% from the field.

The auction for Jordan's debut UNC ticket stub ends on Saturday. Happy bidding!
