The Rams beat the Seahawks 26-17 for a welcome win to bounce back from their first loss of the season this past weekend.

Matthew Stafford (33) led LA’s passing attack by going 25-for-37 and a game-high 365 yards, as well as adding one touchdown and one interception.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson didn’t get the chance to match Stafford as he went only 11-for-16, 152 yards, plus one touchdown and a pick before having to sit out late in the third quarter with an injury to his throwing hand.

Both teams’ offensive units tried relentlessly during the first half to get enough momentum to take control of the game, with neither successfully converting much on third-down overall.

Seattle had the ball with under a minute to play in the second quarter but had to settle for a 35-yard field attempt that went wide left.

By the half, the scoreboard read 7-3 – more fitting for one of Thursday’s baseball games.

In the third quarter, the Rams seemed to make the necessary halftime adjustments and found the end zone twice for their first lead of the game, 16-7.

The Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. took advantage of Seattle’s ongoing trouble with opposing rushing attacks. He finished the game with 17 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Sony Michel also rushed for a score as well, as part of his 11-rush, 37-yard performance.

Seahawks backup quarterback Geno Smith came in for Wilson, completing 10 of 17 attempts for 131 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

The last quarter had Seattle threatening to take back the lead but with every Seahawks score, the Rams answered right back to stay ahead for the win.

Next weekend, the Rams (4-1) are on the road to take on the Giants (1-3) while the Seahawks (2-3) are also on the road against the Steelers (1-3).
