The Titans outlasted the Bills at home 34-31 for their second-straight win, snapping Buffalo’s four-game winning streak in the process.

Even though Buffalo’s defense has been at the top of the league through the first six weeks of the campaign, they couldn’t stop the Titans on the ground and couldn’t stop them from allowing a successful Tennessee comeback.

The Bills did lead the Titans through most of the game, apart from about four minutes of the second quarter and much of the fourth, before allowing the opposition to take over the lead.

The victory was sealed in the final seconds when Tennessee’s defense stopped a fourth-down quarterback sneak, sending the Bills home with their second loss of the season.

Leading the Titans rushing attack once again was Derrick Henry (27), as he yet continues to carry not only the football but also the entire team’s success in his secure grasp.

Henry found the end zone in three out of four quarters, often running for gains where he was barely touched as he ran through the line of scrimmage.

His longest rush in the game was for 76 yards, scoring his first touchdown of the game.

For the night, Henry finished with 20 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns.

While the Bills did come up against a formidable foe in the Titans, Monday night’s loss wasn’t the type to throw them off the rails completely.

They have a bye week up next to relax and then a handful of games where they could easily find themselves in the midst of another impressive winning streak while still holding onto their division lead in the AFC East.

Next Sunday, the Titans (4-2) stay at home to host the Chiefs (3-3) while the Bills (4-2) will be back in action on October 31, at home against the Dolphins (1-5).
