Turkey - Midas is no ordinary kitty!

This special cat is lighting up the internet with her unusual appearance.

Midas is a Russian blue mix living with her rescue mom in Turkey.

Her silky blue-gray fur and friendly green eyes aren't all that stand out about her.

She also appears to have two small ears growing out of two larger ones.

But how did the kitty end up with four ears? According to the Daily Star, her parents are said to have had a genetic mutation, which they then passed on to Midas.

The results don't seem to have dampened Midas' popularity.

In fact, the cat has already amassed more than 25,000 followers on Instagram!

Cats are already known for their good hearing, but it turns out Midas' extra ears don't give her any additional powers in that regard.

She cannot hear out of the smaller ears, but her larger ones function just as usual.

Midas' special looks succeeded in attracting the attention of her rescue mom.

The woman hopes Midas' adoption story will encourage other people to take in pets that may not be 100% "normal."

In addition to the four-eared cat, the animal lover also has another cat and a dog. But it didn't take long for Midas to become the "star" of the household.

Instagram users agree. The comments sections on Midas' pictures are full of heart-eye emojis and exclamations like "Adorable!" and "She is so cute!"

It seems Midas' mom isn't the only one swept away by this unique kitty.
