Dogs and cats don't usually get along, but this feline seems to be going through a bit of an identity crisis – and TikTok is here for it!

Comedian Cory Michaelis posted a TikTok video of her cat that hits about as hard as any joke you could think of.

The clip shows her gray cat basically teleporting into the picture out of nowhere. With lightning speed, it jumps on a counter and then slides down a support pillar.

And just in case the frantic vibes weren't already strong enough, the pet then turns its face to the camera... and starts panting like a dog!

With eyes bulging and pupils fully dilated, the cat sticks out its tongue and breathes hard.

"Are you a dog or a cat?" confused owner Cory asks.

Well over 14 million views later, TikTokers are just as baffled by what they're seeing.

Among the 15,000+ comments, there are plenty of users laughing their heads of at the bizarre scene, but also some concerned ones who wonder whether there's something wrong with the slightly unhinged cat.

Thankfully, one contribution left by a user named Payton Moore should clear things up: "vet tech here and cats can pant when they play too hard. not always a cause for concern! hes just got the zoomies!"
