The internet is going gaga over a group of furry felines who show off their smooth moves to high-pitched pop songs.

The synchronized steps have left many wondering if the animals have taken dance classes, or if are they are simply dancing robots.

Their social media channels, titled Yuna and Friends, regularly display a group of four-legged friends that make viewers giggle with their many kitty vids.

They have spawned a slew of viral hits in recent weeks, several of which have racked up thousands of clicks and new followers.

What do the kittens do so expertly? Quite simply: they dance! Although some of the clips feature them only bobbing their heads from left to right or top to bottom, they're always in time with the music playing.

Some examples show the cats grooving to Justin Bieber's Baby or 50 Cent's In Da Club. The two vids alone have received tens of millions of views. Go shortie(s)!

But what's behind the dancing prowess?

How do the cat dance moves work?

But how does the magic dancing work? And how do the cats choreograph their movements all together in time?

Many users are sure that the kittens' owners simply wave an exciting object in front of their cats from behind the camera – and the cats follow it as if they've been hypnotized. Their eyes stay glued to the object, and when it moves back and forth to the music, it looks as if the cats are nodding their heads and moving in time to the beat.

The clever trick has created a huge sensation on TikTok – and we can't stop watching these big-eyed furballs of fun!
