On TikTok user, Nat's viral video features her filthy car. It's covered in hair and drool.

The video's on-screen text asks: "Why don't you clean your car out? It's been almost three months."

Apparently, the TikToker lost their fur baby and canine companion, a yellow lab named Gunner, a mere three months prior to the video being posted.

All the fur and filth in the car reminds the grieving pet owner of her doggo. The video itself was captioned: "Maybe one day but definitely not anytime soon. Going in that car smells like gunner still. It was our safe spot. I will never get used to not seeing him in that rearview mirror."

The clip that boasts a whooping 5.5 million views also shows a few glimpses of the adorable dog that sadly died of cancer.

TikTok users understand the dog owner's pain

The 22-year-old is clearly having a hard time dealing with the death of her dog.

But she isn't the only one who's had a hard time due to the death of a pet, as is clear from the comments. One wrote, "Pets will give us the happiest days of our lives and the single saddest one," while another added, "it's like once you clean it he is really gone forever."

Multiple other TikTok users shared that cleaning up the last stray hair of their pets that passed took them years. Some shared that they still haven't been able to clean up the remnants of their departed animals: "Haven’t cleaned the window with all the nose prints and she passed almost 3 years ago," one user wrote.

Regardless if Nat cleans the car or not, she's got a lot of adorable footage of her beloved pooch on her TikTok page.
