New York, New York - One golden retriever wasn't so sure about the "baby dinosaur" chick his human introduced him to, and he made sure everyone was aware of his reservations.

Hudson the golden retriever is known for his goofy nature that his humans put on full display on his own dedicated Instagram account where they narrate his every thought.

In a video posted on Friday, Hudson has a strange encounter with an unfamiliar foe: a baby chick.

At first, the doggo seemed perplexed by the little guy, stepping towards him while on-screen text read, "Henlo baby dinosaur."

But once the chick started inching towards the pup, all bets were off as Hudson tried to offer a compromise to his newfound foe.

"I don't like you, and you don't like me so let's keep our distance," Hudson said. For some reason, the chick didn't seem to understand the pup's human-translated thoughts, as it keeps inching closer to the golden retriever, who let out a big bark as to say, "whoa, take it easy!"

As Hudson zooms backwards to find safety in a different room of what appears to be a veterinary office, he takes one final look at the chick, and then turns his head away while the on-screen text reads, "No, thanks mom, it's a dinosaur."

To show just how unimpressed he was with the baby chick's mere existence, Hudson then seemingly stated, "go back to Jurassic Park," before letting out two big barks.

Here's to hoping neither Hudson nor the baby chick were too traumatized by the goofy encounter!
