"Sound on!" as the IG GIF goes.

"I’ve listened to this close to 100 times and still cry," TikToker Morgan Jones Messina captioned her now viral video, and we couldn't agree more!

Morgan posted the grainy clip, which shows surveillance footage of the family's dog returning home after being missing. Yet despite it being fuzzy, the audio is ear-piercingly clear.

"The moment my parents realized our dog, who had been missing for three days, made her way home," she wrote in the clip.

A small dog can be made out coming up the driveway, as the two parents excitedly scream, "Sadie! Oh my God!"

The video continues with Morgan's parents' elated sobs, and has been viewed over 677,000 times on TikTok, with over 90,000 giving it a like.

Many viewers were touched by the sweet story and the dog owners' heartfelt response.

In a sub-comment on the video, Morgan explained that Sadie belongs to her mother, who also owns a farm with more than 60 animals.

"She loves them all like this," Morgan wrote.

According to the non-profit organization American Humane, around ten million pets are lost every year in the US. Millions later end up in the often overcrowded animal shelters.

Only around 15% of those are usually reunited with their owners. It is particularly an issue among pets that are not microchipped.

While it's unclear whether Sadie had a microchip, or exactly how she went missing, the family pup is now back safe and sound.
