Robot vacuums tend to be baffling machines with a mind entirely their own. These supposedly smart devices often have users complaining about "drunk" behavior and bizarre programming.

And yet, Roombas have become popular with pet owners who appreciate them for making hilarious moments possible – just like the one that helped Marlow the Australian shepherd go viral.

As the video posted to the dog's TikTok channel shows, there are alternative uses for the little robot vacuums, one of which is giving puppers a ride around the house. Marlow surfs the appliance like an expert, doggedly hanging on as it continues to move around the room. Biting down on the Roomba seems to help her keep balance.

"Do you ever look at someone and wonder, 'What is going on inside their head?'" Marlow's owner captioned the video of her clumsy pup.

It quickly went viral, with 1.5 million views on TikTok and hundreds more on Instagram.

"This is amazing," one viewer said. "Priceless!" wrote another.

According to Marlow's owner, the adorable puppy's hobbies include "cuddles, barking, and being cute" – as well as electronics, apparently.

She posted a follow-up clip of Marlow battling the cleaning robot once again, and set the video to music from Mission Impossible.

"I will win this duel, you floor monster!" the video said.

Many viewers agreed that not only was Marlow adorable, but she was making them consider getting a Roomba as well!
