Rescuer takes in two adorable puppies, but he has no idea who he's dealing with!

Ierapetra, Greece - The poor puppies were soaking wet and trembling from the cold when animal welfare activist Takis rescued them. Who could have left these cute canines behind?

The Greek man rescued the two babies and rushed them straight to the animal shelter he runs in Ierapetra on the island of Crete.

After the two dogs were warmed up and dry, Takis handed them a large bowl of tasty snacks.

The pooches might have been shy and reserved in the beginning. But upon seeing their food, the tables turned and they revealed their true nature!

Takis later joked he brought "destroyers of peace" into his shelter.

It turns out Rain and Thunder - as he had aptly named the pups - had quite the stormy temperament!

According to Takis, the small siblings fought and played 24/7. It's fair to say the other animals were not always amused with the double-trouble.

Takis captured all the wild scenes on camera and later uploaded the brother and sister's adventures to YouTube.

One scene shows the sneaky puppies snatching another dog's favorite spot. Another one sees them provoking a cat until she snaps at them.

But eventually, the cute animals got tired and fell asleep huddled together.

Years have passed since then, as Rain and Thunder have grown to become real adult dogs. Unfortunately, the loyal pups are still waiting to find their forever home.

That might change soon, however, since the adorable footage racked up over 17,000 clicks since Takis uploaded it on Monday.

But until then, the two chaos-siblings still have each other to play with.
