Palm Coast, Florida - Cristina Ryan's breath caught in her throat when she saw this video from her surveillance camera.

The footage showed a strange creature walking through her yard in the middle of the night.

Ryan, who lives in Palm Coast, Florida, spoke to FOX 35 News about the incident.

"Maybe I've watched 'Jurassic Park' too many times, but I see a raptor or other small dinosaur!" she said.

The animal reportedly ran through Cristina Ryan's backyard around 3:40 AM. She said everyone she showed the clip to agreed it must have been a dinosaur.

"Some say a large bird, but that makes no sense -- since whatever it is appears to have front legs. So not sure? Lol. I'm sticking with raptor myself," she said jokingly.

After FOX 35 News posted the video on its Facebook and YouTube channels, users began discussing it wildly.

Everyone had an idea what kind of animal had dashed through Cristina Ryan's backyard, with one user explaining, "A dog with a leash and something reflective on – raincoat? Our dog has a raincoat and he would look like that from above."

Another puzzled, "Turkeys look like little Dino's when they run, I see them all the time on my mail route..but there is something about this things tail that is definitely not a turkey tail...weird."

"it's hard to see but iguanas get that big in south florida and when they want to move fast they certainly can," another Facebook user speculated.

The identity of the animal in the security footage remains unclear. Maybe it really was a baby dinosaur...
