Georgia Knight went viral last week for "the most disgusting thing" she'd ever seen - and of course she had to show everyone.

In the TikTok clip, the 18-year-old explains that she took a look at her range hood light and discovered a "massive" spider there.

To prove it, the teen pans up to the arachnid in the shot. At first glance you only notice another small insect, and many users thought she was just being overly dramatic.

That is until the camera focuses in on what looks like a bundle of wires, or a small crab. The garish light from the range hood only serves to illuminate the outline of a huge spider that looks like it could take down a small bird!

The find was threatening and freaky enough to strike fear into the hearts of more than 3.4 million users within five days.

The comments on a second clip, in which Georgia gives everyone a closer look at the spider, were clear as to what she should do next.

  • "That's just its shed exoskeleton. It's still in your house somewhere".
  • "It looked way bigger in the first video".

  • "I'm moving to the Antarctic".
  • "Just burn down your house and start over".
  • "If it shed that skin, it got bigger, and is still around your house".

Some TikTok users also wondered where Georgia Knight lives, and in the comments she did confirm that she is in the UK. This didn't many anyone feel any better, as most were expecting her to hail from Australia, where close encounters with gigantic spiders are fairly common.

To Georgia's relief and that of her commenters who were sure the spider would jump out at her, she realized that the animal was no longer alive, or at least, it had left its exoskeleton behind.

Once she had extracted the guest from the extractor, she placed it on a shopping bag for a size comparison and it was clear that the spider was not the titanic terror she made it out to be in her first video.

With more than 42,000 comments, a lot of people around the world were very invested in her discovery. At over 1.1 million likes, the disgusting find was worth it in the end.
