Celebrity tributes pour in after Hayden Panettiere's sudden death: "Wish the world had more time with you"
Los Angeles, California - Viola Davis, Selma Blair, and more celebs have flooded social media with tributes for the late Hayden Panettiere after her unexpected death.
Mere hours after the Nashville star's death made headlines on Sunday night, fans and industry friends reacted with heartbreak and shock.
Under Hayden's final Instagram post, Selma Blair commented, "I love you. Don't be gone. Don't be gone . Please. Please," and wrote in another comment, "I love you whale tail my friend."
Her Scream co-stars David Arquette and Melissa Barrera, along with the film's writer, Kevin Williamson, also addressed her death, with Arquette writing under a Variety post, "I love you Hayden."
Barrera shared via her Stories, "Rest in Peace sweet Hayden," while the director posted an image of Hayden with heart emojis over it.

Viola Davis – who starred in the drama Custody with the Heroes alum – penned in her emotional tribute, "What an amazing talent you were....so gifted," adding, "I wish the world had more time with you because I had a burning curiosity about who you were becoming."
The Oscar winner continued, "Your tests became your testimony, and your testimony became your legacy. You will be remembered."
Kelly Osbourne said on her IG Stories that she and Hayden "understood each other in a way few truly can," sharing, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of someone who meant so much to me."
The Osbournes alum added, "My heart grieves for someone so special to this world and such a good friend to me. I will never forget you, Hayden, and I will always believe you deserved better."
On Sunday, Hayden's father, Skip, announced in a statement, "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden.
"She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her - and to the millions who watched her onscreen."
