Los Angeles, California – The family drama continues: Following the serious abuse allegations made by her ex‑husband Olivier Martinez, Halle Berry is now fighting for custody of her 13-year-old son, Maceo.

Martinez has accused the 60-year-old actor of brutally attacking and physically abusing their son at the end of September.

Berry, who has been separated from Martinez for 10 years, supposedly grabbed the boy by the neck and choked him during an argument.

The Oscar‑winning star has flatly denied the allegations.

"I would never hurt our child," TMZ quotes from the court documents.

According to a report by People, Berry now wants to restore the original custody arrangement the exes had in place.

Under the current court order, she only sees Maceo at set times, but now she is seeking the 50/50 custody agreement they initially agreed upon after their divorce.

In her new filing, Berry has also leveled serious accusations against her ex‑husband.

The French actor allegedly tries repeatedly to pull their child onto his side and to turn him against her.

According to court documents, when Maceo comes to her house after seeing his father, he is often "angry and combative" toward her, Berry claims.

She also says her ex makes decisions about the boy's education unilaterally and interferes with her therapeutic work with their son.

He even attempts to turn teachers and therapists against her.

The bitter custody battle between Berry and Martinez has been dragging on for years.

Their next hearing is scheduled for mid‑October.
