Los Angeles, California - Jennifer Lawrence has finally joined Instagram, and she's already made it very clear that one wrong comment could send her right back off the platform!
The Oscar-winning actor created her account under the handle @jlaw and made her debut with a video of herself delivering a warning to her new followers.
"If anyone says anything negative, I will quit. Immediately. If anyone thinks something mean, I'll know. And I'll quit," she said.
She followed up with an Instagram Story asking fans to be careful with their comments.
"Please be mindful that any mean or aggressive comments can negatively affect the baby. It's me. I'm the baby," The Hunger Games star wrote.
Her profile bio also explains why fans won't find her full name in the username: "jenniferlawrence was taken."
Fans wasted no time celebrating her arrival, with one commenting, "This is the best day of my life," while another wrote, "wow finally some good news."
And apparently, the internet agrees. Jennifer has already gained around 1.4 million followers just a day after joining Instagram.
The actor has stayed largely off social media for years and has previously spoken about disliking press tours, per Variety, saying she feels she "loses so much control" over her craft when interviews and headlines begin circulating online.
For someone who has avoided social media for so long, Jennifer's first day on Instagram is certainly going exactly as chaotically as fans could have hoped.
