Los Angeles, California - Kim Kardashian has revealed that she was single for five years before finding love again with Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton.
The 45-year-old got candid about her dating life in a new interview with The Sunday Times, admitting she "felt no rush" to jump back into a relationship following her divorce from Kanye West.
"I really didn't feel empty. I felt like I needed my time," she explained.
Outside of a months-long fling with comedian Pete Davidson, Kim said she "was really single for five years."
"That felt great. I could focus on my kids and projects that I really wanted to be involved with," she continued.
Kim and Kanye, who share four children, split in 2021 after nearly a decade together.
The SKIMS mogul told the outlet that she needed time to "completely heal" after their highly publicized and contentious divorce.
She hadn't even been thinking about opening herself up to love again – until Lewis came along, that is!
"The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to," Kim gushed.
The reality star first sparked dating rumors with the 41-year-old Brit when they attended the Super Bowl together back in February.
While they're still keeping things largely under wraps, they've both slowly been letting fans in with some cozy social media snaps.
