New York, New York - Rapper Megan Thee Stallion broke down her three personas and revealed that her Act III hails the return of the harder Tina Snow in a recent interview with InStyle.
For her highly anticipated new album Act III, Hot Girl Summer rapper Megan Thee Stallion is bringing back her harder side. Enter Tina Snow.
Tina Snow is one of the three personas that make up the artist: Megan Thee Stallion, Tina Snow, and Megan Pete. Meg debuted Tina Snow in 2018 with an EP of the same name.
These three personalities help Meg deal with the pressures of fame and public life. "For a long time, I really just assumed I was all of these people at once," the Hiss rapper told InStyle in a recent cover interview.
"The more famous I got, the more I realized I had to separate my personal life from my performer life. I was just giving out trust so freely. I was making myself so available to people and going out of my way to do things for people who wouldn’t do those same things for me."
Meg broke her egos down and gave them specific roles: "I was able to place some things in Megan Thee Stallion and save Megan Pete for special people." That begs the question: Who is Tina Snow?
Tina Snow is a "cold b***h"
Kellon Deryck, Meg's longtime stylist and bestie who knows all of the rapper's personas, put it simply: "Tina Snow is a cold bitch. She stands on business."
Meg's other personas, per Deryck, are softer: "Megan Thee Stallion has different layers to her. She’s sexy. She’s a lover girl. She’s empowering. Megan Pete is a loving, caring individual that wants to see everybody win and shine."
Meg explained Snow by saying: "This is my armor when I need to be a little bit more mean, I guess. The things that Megan Thee Stallion or Megan Pete wouldn’t say, I let Tina Snow say it."
In August, the Savage rapper teased Tina's return on social media with sultry promo pics for her Act III.
Tina Snow set to shine in Act III
Megan Thee Stallion is putting her colder side forward after all she's been through, which includes the rough break up from Klay Thompson earlier this year.
"I feel like I’ve been put through the washing machine and the dryer with tins, shovels, and a cactus," she said of the split.
"It’s time for Tina Snow because I finally have reached a point in my life and in my career where I learned that people who don’t like you, there’s nothing you can do to make them like you," Megan told InStyle.
"I feel like on this [new] album, I’m definitely just like, 'B***h, if you think it’s about you, maybe it is.' I don’t know. Cuss me out. I don’t care. I can’t control what you do. Just like you can’t control what I do."
