Olivia Rodrigo gives University of Alabama student the gift of a lifetime!
Tuscaloosa, Alabama - University of Alabama graduate Jamie Causey has just revealed how Olivia Rodrigo quietly helped her finish school!
Causey, who graduated with a degree in public relations, revealed in a TikTok clip that the pop star gifted her $5,000 to cover her school expenses.
The 21-year-old said she kept the financial donation a secret for more than a year, explaining that she "didn't want something that meant so much to become a public spectacle."
She recalled that Olivia reached out after seeing the first-generation college student struggling to pay tuition, and she even dropped screenshots of their interactions.
The GUTS singer wrote to Jamie, "Hi girl! I know you don't know me but I love your videos so much, you seem like the kindest coolest gal and you are such a source of positivity and light in my life!"

Olivia – who just slammed President Donald Trump for cutting funding for Planned Parenthood – continued, "I watched ur last vid about tuition and I'd love to help out if you were open at all to that? So cool that you are so close to graduating! Do you have a Venmo I could send to?"
Causey continued in the clip, "Olivia, I don't know if you'll ever understand how much that means to me. You made me feel like I belong on this platform. You didn't owe me anything, you just chose to show kindness to a stranger."
Causey also thanked Paris Hilton, whose rep also offered to send the former student merchandise from the reality star. She encouraged viewers, "Send the message, pay for the coffee, pay for the car behind you, or just smile at someone. You never know the difference it will make."
