Los Angeles, California - Sydney Sweeney is remaining tight-lipped as another athlete sounds off on her provocative nude sports betting ad!
Even Indiana Fever guard and WNBA star Sophie Cunningham weighing in on the controversial campaign in which Sydney appeared completely nude with sporting equipment isn't prompting the actor to speak out.
Sophie sounded off on her No Hesitation podcast, saying, "I have so many takes. But first of all, does she even gamble on sports? It's so inauthentic."
She continued, "Am I surprised how she represented the brand? That's what she made her whole career off."
The Euphoria star's steamy ad has received backlash from the sports community, with many leading women athletes condemning Sydney for "sexualizing" women's sports.
Will Sydney Sweeney address her latest controversy?
The WNBA star continued, "Don't get me wrong, I like her. She sticks to her guns, and she does her thing, and she's her. Props to her."
She added, "Do I like it? Like that particular ad? Not really. I think it’s like, what are we doing? But again, I’m not surprised. That’s what she’s known for. She’s making her money. Go do your thing, sis."
The White Lotus actor has yet to address her latest scandal, though this is hardly the first time that she's ruffled feathers. Previously, Sydney received intense backlash over her American Eagle "Good Jeans" ad, which she defended and admitted that she was surprised by the reaction.
