While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 64-year-old was asked about his chit-chat with the pop star after they were captured in a suite together at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos.
Tom admitted that Taylor was "schooling" him about football, saying, "She was bringing the football. First of all, she's a genius."
The Mission Impossible star continued: "I've been following her since she was a kid. Everybody there, all their friends, they're a beautiful couple and magical in their own right. Everybody there in that booth."
Tom said he hasn't attended a game since "pre-Covid," and gushed that the Opalite hitmaker "knows her stuff" despite not having a lot of knowledge on the sport prior to meeting Travis.

"Now," the Top Gun actor further shared, "She knows. She's just bringing it."
Tom revealed that the two also discussed movies and music, adding: "She's funny. She's got such a great sense of humor. A brilliant writer also, by the way. Brilliant musician and director. Very skilled."
The veteran actor was among the 1000 guests that attended Taylor and Travis' A-list nuptials on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. While the attendees have been coy about the event, Brad Pitt recently hailed the ceremony as the "wedding of the century."
