Palm Beach plane crash: Tech mogul and his family identified among victims of tragedy
Palm Beach, Florida – Nine people were killed in a horrific crash that saw a private jet plummet onto a Florida road on Sunday. Now, the victims have been identified.
20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras and 55-year-old pilot Jeff Gregory were killed when the plane they were flying went down, leaving a flaming crater on the ground.
In addition to the pilots were tech millionaire Adam Robinson, his wife, Helen, daughter Emma, and son Charlie.
According to TMZ, the family was also accompanied by a nanny and two friends.
A family confidant told the outlet that the jet was en route from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas, where they had planned to celebrate a birthday together.
Just days before the fatal flight, the tech mogul was still raving about his everyday life. In an interview with TMZ, Jesse Ouellette, a friend of Robinson, said he had told him his life was "going too well."
Ouellette described the 44‑year‑old as an extraordinary person and deeply mourned his loss.
About six months earlier, Robinson shared a life lesson on X that has since turned eerie: "You don't need to crash a plane to learn to fly ... and you don't need VC to build a business."
