Trump has long mocked others for their size and weight, but it turns out the president is about a meal away from officially being deemed obese.

According to a recent report from The Washington Post, Trump's weight was recorded as 215 pounds when he was charged in Georgia in an election interference case back in August 2023.

In May, the White House released a medical report that listed him at 238 pounds.

Calculating Trump's body mass index (BMI) using his weight and his height of 6 feet 3 inches, the outlet determined he is only 1.6 pounds from the obesity threshold.

Despite aligning himself with health enthusiasts, such as Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., it has been a known fact for years that Trump regularly eats fast food and despises exercise.

Scott Kahan, the director of the National Center for Weight and Wellness and a George Washington University physician, argued, "Addressing obesity to protect the president’s health should be a priority similar to ensuring Secret Service protections for his life."

In May, the president joked that "maybe junk food is good" during an Oval Office meeting, and even suggested that living well is futile.

"I know many, many people that all they do is watch their weight, their this, their that, and they kicked the bucket, and here we are," Trump said.

"I feel great," he added.
