Morris County, New Jersey - President Donald Trump recently stirred up controversy after he recently unveiled a new hair style and color.
On Friday, Trump was photographed descending on the tarmac at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, as he was expected to spend the weekend at his golf club in Bedminster.
Photos of the president got the internet buzzing as his hair appeared much darker than his usual blonde, and his signature combover had been swooped to the opposite side.
"Trump is now a brunette!" journalist Molly Jong-Fast wrote in an X post.
"I love it. So youthful. Very Pierce Brosnan," another user shared.
Social media users have been debating whether Trump's new hair is actually a wig, or the product of leaving hair dye in for too long.
Many were quick to mock the change, with one user joking, "Trump told his stylist, 'I want to look like serial killer Rex Heuermann.'"
Trump's hair has been the subject of intrigue for many years, but has never strayed away from the signature look that has become a part of his brand. Last month, his hair similarly got attention after it appeared blonder and thicker than usual.
The 80-year-old president has also been facing concerns about about his aging health. On Friday, photos of bruising and discoloration seen on his hands were also trending.
During a White House event last Wednesday, Trump told the crowd, "For years, I had to suffer with people saying, 'He wears a wig.' I don't wear a wig."
