Washington DC - President Donald Trump is listening to the opinions of White House officials who believe rapper Nicki Minaj has a lot more to offer his administration than just her curves.
Roughly one week after openly admiring Minaj's backside during a campaign rally in Michigan, Trump seems to be taking the words of his assistant and White House communications director, Steven Cheung, to heart.
Before Trump and Minaj took the stage last Sunday, the No Excuses rapper was seen chatting it up with Cheung on Air Force One.
Cheung shared a clip of the two in what seemed to be a moment of preparation before the rally, saying he believes "we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!"
Nearly one week after the rally where he said Minaj has "one hell of a beautiful a**," Trump made an appearance on The Benny Show with commentator and YouTuber Benny Johnson, saying Minaj as his new press secretary is "a good idea" that he'll "have to think about."
Trump also said Johnson would be a good press secretary for him.
The press secretary role in Trump's White House has yet to be filled since Katie Zacharia was removed from the role after five days. She has recently blamed the media for not allowing her to properly do her job after facing scrutiny over her credentials after admitting she never passed the bar exam.
Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel suggested Kim Kardashian could fill Zaharia's shoes, since she's at least passed the "baby" bar exam in California.
However, Kim seemed uninterested in the role, telling Kimmel she had "no interest" in being Trump's press secretary while flashing a smile.
