Trump White House cuts Natalie Harp out of Freedom 250 Grand Prix video
Washington DC - Is the White House trying to play damage control as President Donald Trump continues to face scrutiny over his relationship with his aide Natalie Harp?
On Sunday, Trump held his big Freedom 250 Grand Prix event in the nation's capital, where he was seen in a suite surrounded by key members of his administration and family, including his wife First Lady Melania Trump and Harp.
So when the White House shared a brief, sped-up clip on X of the president waving a green flag, users were quick to notice that a particular someone was cut out.
"Hey, why'd you crop out Natalie?" one user said, sharing the original video, which clearly shows the aide standing in a row behind Melania, over the first lady's left shoulder.
The bizarre move comes as President Trump faces heavy scrutiny over his relationship with Harp, who reportedly rarely leaves his side and has penned him what New York Times reporters called "adoring letters."
Their apparent closeness has sparked heavy speculation and rumors from the media and Trump's political enemies. When Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff mocked their relationship during a recent event, the president and his allies reacted with vitriol due to the fact that Melania reportedly "doesn't like these types of things."
The Trumps were also seen appearing to argue at the event, and a video caught the moment Melania exited the suite as Harp entered.
