Rome, Georgia - Former MAGA loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene is facing backlash online for throwing shade at Ukraine for considering legalizing pornography to fund military operations that could supply the country with 30,000 drones.

Greene may no longer be a sitting member of Congress after resigning, but she's still speaking out about global politics as the Russia-Ukraine Conflict continues.

The former ally of President Donald Trump posted a video on X, calling out Ukraine for a move she deems "sick and absolutely unbelievable."

According to reports, Yaroslav Zhelezniak — the chair of Ukraine's parliamentary finance committee — is backing a push to legalize pornography in Ukraine, per Yahoo Finance. He claims doing so would generate nearly $25 million per year in tax revenue, which Zhelezniak says will fund 30,000 military drones.

In response, Greene reflected on her time in Congress while calling out Ukraine, but it didn't sit well with everyone online.

"I was one of the very few Republicans from the very beginning who voted no on funding the Ukraine war," Greene said in the video before claiming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other Ukrainian soldiers were constantly asking her and her fellow Congressmen to fund the war.

Now, Greene claims Ukraine has "become so desperate for cash, they have moved to the unthinkable," Greene said, referring to Zhelezniak's push to legalize pornography – which is currently illegal in Ukraine (including for OnlyFans creators) – to raise money to fund 30,000 military drones.

"It's disgusting," Greene said. "They're willing to sell sex and tax the revenue off of sex all so they can buy more drones to continue their war to kill more people."

For reference, OnlyFans is legal to use and operate in the US, as long as users and creators are at least 18 years old, creators report their earnings for taxes, and the content posted obeys federal and state laws.

But not everyone was on board with Greene's take, with one X user replying to Greene's video post, telling her to "stop being a Putin stooge," before asking, "Why do you hate American soldiers and democracy?"

X user @MooreHomes1, who claims to be MAGA in their profile bio, ignored the message of the video and simply wrote, "Marjorie you don’t look good. Try staying away from the camera for a while."
