Marjorie Taylor Greene mocks Trump while dropping big bucks on gas: "Tired of this grandpa"

Rome, Georgia - Former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is giving President Donald Trump a taste of his own social media mockery medicine, calling him out while pumping gas into her truck for a staggering $175 while saying, "I'm tired of this, grandpa."

The rising cost to fill up a tank of gas in the US is a common topic of discussion – mostly among critics of President Donald Trump and his administration. And former Congressperson Marjorie Taylor Greene is jumping on the bandwagon with shade all her own.

In a post on X, Greene is seen at the gas station, filling her truck's tank of gas when the camera pans to the pump, showing the total cost to fill up.

For roughly 29 gallons of gas, Greene appears to have spent $175. Based on current prices, it seems Greene's truck may require diesel, which, on average, is $6.32 per gallon according to AAA.

The video then pans back to Greene, who – with a disappointing look on her face – quotes the viral audio clip from the 2003 film, Holes: "I'm tired of this, grandpa."

The video then pans to a clip of Trump, which appears to be AI-generated, saying, "That's too damn bad," just like the viral audio clip says.

Gas prices have been a hot topic of debate since they started rising rapidly around late February, when the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran, prompting Iran to close the Hormuz Strait, which disrupted global oil and fuel supplies.

The national average gas price in the US in October 2025 for regular gas was roughly $3.06 per gallon, according to the Bureau of Transportation

Prices have risen dramatically over the year, with US gas prices in October averaging around $4.37 per gallon for regular gas, while diesel.
