Marjorie Taylor Greene says she "can't remember the last time" she saw someone in a MAGA hat
Rome, Georgia - Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently claimed that President Donald Trump's fans are following her cue and leaving his MAGA movement in droves.
On Monday, MTG shared an X post that featured a photo of a Trump Superstore in Chattanooga, Tennessee, accompanied by a "going out of business" sign.
"I can't remember the last time I saw someone wearing a MAGA hat or Trump shirt," Greene wrote in her post.
During her time representing Georgia's 14th District, Greene established a reputation as one of Trump's most ardent allies in the House.
But in his second term, she joined several other prominent MAGA figures in criticizing Trump's agenda, most notably his steadfast loyalty to Israel and his abrupt decision to go to war with Iran.
The two got into a public feud, which ended with Greene resigning from Congress. She has since continued to criticize the president on social media and in interviews.
Over the weekend, she shared a lengthy post warning that Trump and his administration are "discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings," which she described as "pure evil."
"Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we've never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history," Greene argued.
Greene has recently been teasing the idea of forming a new political party alongside political commentator Tucker Carlson and former Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie.
