St. Paul, Minnesota - The Minnesota Supreme Court recently rejected a request from MAGA Republican Mike Lindell to hold a recount for his gubernatorial primary loss.

According to CBS News, Minnesota's highest court slapped down the request on Saturday, after Lindell offered to pay for a recount over claims of "anomalies," but ultimately decided to sue election officials because he did not like the stipulations of their proposed recount.

In a six-page ruling, Chief Justice Natalie Hudson wrote that Lindell's "focus on alleged anomalies confuses the purpose of a manual recount with an election contest."

Lindell lost to Demuth by around 45,000 votes, despite touting an enthusiastic endorsement from President Donald Trump.

His refusal to concede comes as no surprise, as Lindell has built his brand on his insistence that Trump had the 2020 election was stolen from him. Lindell has lost several major lawsuits over such claims.

The politician recently launched a website titled Lindell Offense Fund, in which he presents what he claims is evidence showing "computer manipulation" of the results from his race.

The site uses faith and patriotism to raise funds for his efforts, as its logo features an American flag in the shape of an L with a cross in the center. A quote from Lindell tells supporters: "God has given us a platform for such a time as this!"

Lindell has also said that even if his efforts don't succeed, he hopes they will serve as "the gateway to getting rid of these electronic voting machines."
