Flight delayed after aggressive passenger lashes out at plane crew in viral incident

London, UK – A recent viral video proved that a vacation can sometimes be more nerve‑wracking than expected: during a flight from London to Las Vegas, an angry 31‑year‑old man caused quite the stir.

Over the weekend, a musician named Bou posted a video on Instagram that shocked viewers. The footage, taken from an airplane, shows a passenger loudly cursing and refusing to calm down despite repeated requests from British Airways staff.

At first, the cabin crew tries to defuse the outburst with words. A flight attendant asks the 31‑year‑old to return to his seat again and again.

"Stay seated!" the woman yells. Despite the height difference, the stewardess remains firm and restrains the angry man until additional staff arrives.

The incident, according to the New York Post, occurred shortly before the flight's departure. Because the unruly passenger would not calm down, the take‑off was delayed.

The plane returned to the terminal and waited there for the police. Until the officers arrived, the crew kept the man restrained.

According to the news portal, the incident occurred on August 6. Around 5:30 PM local time, the aircraft arrived at the terminal, where authorities were already waiting.

The troublemaker was arrested on suspicion of intoxication.

The musician who posted the video praised the flight attendant's actions, saying she handled the situation excellently and called for her to get a raise.

"When these incidents occur, the appropriate action will always be taken," a British Airways spokesperson said in a statement.

An investigation into the 31‑year‑old is now underway.
