This poor cat must have slipped between the walls while climbing and gotten itself stuck in a really tight spot.

Fortunately, Ireland's NSPCA Animal Rescue jumped in to help.

"She was extremely stressed, and NSPCA inspectors worked quickly to get her out," the animal rescue team wrote on Instagram in mid-October.

Getting this cat out was no easy feat. "There were some tricky moments, but thankfully, she was rescued with only a few minor scratches to both her and the inspectors," the rescuers continued.

The NSPCA team dubbed the cat Marge and shared her harrowing story online because, while she was microchipped, the kitty didn't have a registered address.

Their efforts paid off: The little cat's owner saw the post and reached out.

The NSPCA team proudly announced that the cat had been reunited with her family, and her real name is Snowy.

"Her best friends, Alfie and Milo the dogs, have been missing her terribly and can’t wait to welcome her home," the team wrote in their heartwarming update.

Snowy is now back home, and her owner has updated her pet's microchip. Hopefully, this curious cat has learned the danger of scaling walls!
