Los Angeles, California - When this four-legged friend woke up, he was immediately in a state of panic! Why? The dog's owner decided to change up his 'do.

At first, everything was just as the Australian Shepherd named Dallas was used to.

Snuggled up to his owner, Kyle Ponte, the dog woke up completely unaware of the shock awaiting him.

In the viral video, Dallas is seen staring at his owner with wide eyes, fleeing the bed in panic, and even barking at Kyle!

But what terrifying sight had the Australian Shepherd witnessed?

"He slept with me all night but didn't realize I dyed my hair blonde until the morning," Kyle explains in the on-screen text.

Looks like the dog's owner, who normally sports jet‑black hair, simply forgot to ask his furry friend for permission before his salon visit!

No wonder the dog initially assumed that a stranger was suddenly lying next to him in the bed.

Even when he eventually sniffed out that it must be his beloved owner, the offense hadn't been forgiven yet, and Dallas approached him with obvious reluctance.

"Safe [to] say the bleach and tone was not approved by Dallas," Kyle joked in the caption.

On TikTok, where the clip has over 800,000 views, users are completely on the outraged dog's side.

"Dog Expert here, just wanted to tell you that he's not just barking because you dyed your hair. He's also barking because he hates the style and cut of it as well. Hope this helps," one TikToker joked.

It seems Kyle will probably have think twice before the next makeover – or at least give Dallas a head's up!
