Palm Beach, Florida - Is this dog well‑behaved? In the case of golden retriever Bauer, the answer probably depends on whether you ask his owner, Emma Moriarty, or her husband, Corey. One thing’s for sure: a TikTok video in which the couple tests the adorable dog has been tickling users’ funny bones for the past few days.

In the quirky clip, everything initially looks peaceful. The woman sits relaxed on the sofa, munching on a few chips. Even the demanding barking from Bauer can’t change that. “No,” she says firmly – and calm returns.

The situation is completely different for Corey Moriarty. He’s sitting with a similar bag, but seems to be eating popcorn. When Bauer approaches him, he does what his wife does and says a decisive “No.”

The problem: the golden retriever isn’t interested in his male owner’s commands. Instead, he practically leaps onto Corey and snatches his bag of snacks. Amid his owner’s frantic protests, Bauer enjoys the popcorn.

The comparison test could not get any better when it came to Emma and Corey at the dishwasher.

While the furry friend here accepts the woman's clear “no,” everything spirals out of control with the male owner. Bauer once again ignores the pleading and begging of the overwhelmed man.

Instead, he literally jumps into the dishwasher, turning everything upside down. It’s obvious he just wants his beloved food bowl. In the end, Corey Moriarty is left utterly desperate.

The third and final test ends with yet another “humiliation” of the authority‑defying man. While Bauer lets his owner calmly fill the bathtub, he naturally jumps in with his owner and puts on his usual theatrics.

Anyone who, after watching the many other videos, those already considered the dog a badly behaved whirlwind will be proven wrong here.

Bauer can behave, if he wants to. But he simply doesn’t have any interest in doing so with his male owner. The result: a TikTok audience that is thoroughly entertained, with the video already racking up over a million views in just two days.
