Florida – "Miss Finster" the dog was taken in by the Big Dog Ranch Rescue back in 2023. She was pregnant at the time and gave birth to her puppies shortly thereafter. What happened next hit her caretakers hard.

"Our heart hurts for Miss Finster," the team wrote in an Instagram post spotlighting the adorable pup.

"She’s been waiting since 2023, watching her puppies find their forever homes while she continues to wait for someone to choose her."

In a sketch video accompanying the comment, the female dog is at the reception desk, excitedly "asking" if anyone has shown any interest in adopting her.

The woman behind the counter can only give the same answer she’s given for the past three years: there are no applications for her.

"Maybe tomorrow will be your day," the receptionist says, comforting the animal.

"Okay... I'll be here. You know where to find me," the doggo "responds" in the clip's onscreen text.

But has the adorable video done anything to increase interest in the sweet doggo?

There are many glowing comments about the four‑legged friend – yet genuine interest in adopting her hasn't materialized yet.

"Miss Finster is 4 years old and loves toys, staying active, and spending time with people. She knows her basic commands and is ready for a family," her caretakers said in their post.
