Dog owner tests his pets' emotional support by pretending to be sad – and they fail miserably!
Palm Beach, Florida – Five dogs were put to the test – but only one passed! Owner Corey Moriarty decided to see how his huskies, Blue and Titan, as well as his three Golden Retrievers named Bauer, Maverick, and Goose, react when he pretends to be sad.
The test is set up simply: Corey crouches on the floor in the living room, hides his face behind crossed arms, and lets out whimpering sounds.
First, Husky Blue is let into the room. He briefly approaches his owner, checks if everything is okay, and concludes: Yes. He leaves shortly afterward.
Next up is Golden Retriever Maverick. What an exemplary dog! When he sees his owner in trouble, he immediately runs to fetch a plush toy.
But it doesn't stop there: he even comforts Corey by holding him in his arms.
After that, things could only go downhill. But Husky Titan has a surprise in store...
Only one dog comforts Corey during the viral test!
The dog may seem a bit confused at first, but then he places his front paws on his owner's shoulder. When Corey looks at him, he even gets a little "kiss" from the dog.
What follows is the part that will tickle your funny bone. The Golden Retriever named Goose is unleashed on Corey, and he doesn't care at all that his owner seems to be crying!
At first, it looks quite harmless. Like his fellow dog Maverick, he fetches a plush toy.
However, the toy is not for Corey but for Goose himself. He calmly plays with it, leaving his owner behind.
The situation gets significantly worse with the final "test dog." Golden Retriever Bauer is so indifferent to his owner's whining that he becomes angry.
Enraged, the furry fellow grabs Corey's hoodie and snarls while pulling at it. All of the dog dad's pleading is useless. Instead, the Golden Retriever tries to strip the hoodie off completely!
Though only one dog proved to be a real emotional support for Corey, all five got the approval of TikTok – the video has racked up nearly one million views since it was post.
