Dogs react as owner dresses up as ghost in hysterical video: "Halloween is cancelled"

Palm Beach, Florida - Pet owner Corey Moriarty from Palm Beach, Florida, wanted to see how five dogs would react if he dressed up as a ghost. The resulting viral video is pure comedy!

This dog owner donned a white sheet with big black eyes and a witch's hat. Then he posed next to two little decorative ghosts.

One by one, his dogs – huskies Blue and Titan, and his golden retrievers, Maverick, Bauer, and Goose – were let in to investigate.

The animals had hysterically different reactions to their owner's spooky season prank, as the sweet TikTok video shows.

"Halloween is already cancelled," Moriarty jokingly wrote in the video caption.

First up in the clip is Blue. The ghost unsettles him, and he tentatively makes contact. Then he tries to unmask the specter, but his courage wanes and he runs away.

Golden Retriever Maverick greets the ghost with excited tail wags. Moriarty takes a sudden step forward and succeeds in scaring his pooch, but the dog doesn’t flee. Instead, Maverick pulls on the sheet, discovers his owner underneath, and immediately snuggles up.

Moriarty's other husky, Titan, takes quite a while to notice the ghost. Once he does, Titan, like Blue, barks before turning tail.

Golden retriever Goose, on the other hand, sees the ghost immediately, but doesn't seem to mind.

Last but not least is golden retriever Bauer, whose reaction is more dramatic than the rest.

One golden retriever refuses to be spooked!

Bauer storms into the room and attacks the ghost the moment he sees it.

Unlike the other four dogs, Bauer isn't about to let his owner creep him out!

This pooch gets to work wrestling the sheets away from his human. In the end, Bauer drags his owner's costume across the room.

Moriarty’s cries for help are useless and hysterical.

This silly, cute video boasts over a million views after just one day online.

Bauer clearly doesn't want his owner dressing up as a ghost this Halloween!

It looks like this human will have to figure out another costume for this year's spooky season. Ghosts clearly aren't his pets' favorite.
