A sweet 12-year-old dog named Bunny found his voice after years of struggle in a touching TikTok video. Watch the brave Chihuahua do his thing!

TikTok user @showmeyourchichis explained in other videos that she had adopted Bunny after passing an animal shelter on the way home from vacation.

The poor pup had been surrendered to be put down, and she didn't hesitate to save him.

After some love and care with his new mama, the dog's personality started coming out.

"He's coming back to life," his new owner gushed in a video soon after his adoption, showing his progress.

Eventually, his newfound confidence finally led to the moment in the viral clip of the bark heard 'round the internet.

In it, the little one lets loose some tiny but spirited barks from his owner's lap.

They appear to be directed at a man standing outside the car window, smiling at the adorable sight.

"Get him, Bunny!" she encourages from behind the camera.

"Working overtime at the guard dog factory," reads the cheeky caption.

Bunny the dog also has some fans in the comments section to cheer him on!

"Most adorable 'woof' I've ever heard," wrote one user.

Another revelled in Bunny checking back with his owner for praise: "[him] looking at you like 'am I doing good mommy?'"
