His owner, Lauren Lieberman, knew that this mood swing was coming. She dramatically calls the situation the "ultimate betrayal."

The video shows Charlie trotting down the hallways of his home – the dog is clearly ready for a walk!

He's grinning and jumping excitedly, while Lauren can be heard preemptively apologizing for what's coming.

Lieberman recently moved from Canada to Florida with the Golden Retriever. Her move has changed a great many things, but not one. She's still using a mobile dog groomer, and Charlie hates the groomer.

When the groomer's van pulls up, the dog's mood does a 180.

Charlie stops dead in his tracks. When Lieberman tries to pull him toward the van, Charlie resists. This Golden really doesn't want to be outside anymore.

In the next shot, three of the dog groomers are doing their best to make Charlie feel safe. They are all giving him pets.

His owner starts coaxing Charlie: "It's okay, Sweetie, come on! Come on, Sweetie!"

This dog does not like the groomer!

Eventually, Charlie gives in and goes to get groomed, leading his owner to shower him with praise.

"Oh, good boy!" his owner exclaims, relieved. This grooming situation was also clearly stressful for her.

Unfortunately, there's no after shot of the grooming, but the clip boasts more than 230,000 views in just two days. TikTokers flooded the comment section with tear‑filled laughing emojis.
