Palm Beach, Florida - Corey Moriarty tried to teach his five dogs a new trick this week. As usual, it ended in chaos. Still, the man managed to cash in on a viral hit right at the start of the month.

In the quirky video, his Husky named Blue is the first to try it. His owner shows him that he can launch a treat into his mouth with a slap on a spoon.

And indeed: after the dog gives it a little sniff, he slaps the spoon, and the treat flies toward him. He doesn’t catch it with his snout, but simply grabs it off the floor.

The funny part is that even though there’s no other treat on the spoon, the husky, hoping for a refill, slaps it again.

His owner then explains that he won’t get any more snacks. The doggo doesn’t like that at all. He barks and looks at Moriarty reproachfully. Finally, he walks away.

Husky Titan takes a completely different approach. He just grumbles, then lies down in front of the spoon, probably hoping the treat will somehow come to him. Nothing comes of it. So it’s Golden Retriever Maverick’s turn.

Obviously, the furry friend is overwhelmed by the situation. Since Maverick the dog doesn’t know what to do, he just starts digging around. Whatever he’s trying to uncover on the hard kitchen floor remains his secret. Or is it a clever trick?

While the owner is thoroughly entertained, the cheeky dog suddenly lunges forward and snatches the reward, then dashes off with the ladle.

Goose is the second Golden Retriever given a chance to try his luck. But the precious pup is in over his head. Instead of hitting the ladle, he lies down beside it, begs his owner, and then cold‑bloodedly grabs the tiny snack.

Moriarty finally calls on his fifth dog for a “test.” The problem: the hot‑headed hound is the last in the lineup. It quickly becomes clear that this game is played by his rules. First he snatches the treat, then the ladle.

His owner chases after him, running him through the whole apartment until he finally gets the ladle back. The video and this finale are a hit with the audience. Since October 1, the clip has racked up over 850,000 views on TikTok and earned plenty of laughing‑cry emojis.
