Lancashire, UK - When this dog mom started leaving her sweet Manchester terrier Max at daycare, she never expected the hysterical photoshoot that was in store for her.

Six-year-old Max lives with his owner Emma Kay in the UK.

She rescued him at six months after he was returned to the breeder for "barking too much" and general "bad behavior," according to an email sent to Newsweek.

While these days little Max is doted on by Emma, he gets a bit anxious when he's apart from her. This may be a result of his early behavioral issues or the subsequent abandonment, but it's impossible to say for sure.

Four years ago, the pup started attending Doggy's Dolittle Creche & Grooming, and he steadily settled into the place.

The unmissable photos his owner shared on TikTok show the adorable and hysterical progression of his confidence growing over time at the daycare.

Over the course of the pics, you can really see Max come out of his shell.

"Max struggles with trust, with new people, people in general, and has a very nervous, anxious nature most of the time," his owner told Newsweek. "So, not a lot of people actually get to see the funny, silly, goofy side of him that we see and that the pictures show."

In the shots, the dog shows off his goofy personality, plays with other pups, cuddles staff members, and even dons some silly outfits!

"For us, Max is the best dog in the world," his owner said.

"[He] has the best personality that unfortunately only a special few get to see, as most of the time he's so scared and anxious of the outside world, so the pictures and videos we get from daycare really do mean a lot."
