Los Angeles, California - Jessica Alba, star of mid-2000s flicks like Sin City and Fantastic Four, got adorable matching tattoos with her daughter Honor, who's only 18-years-old.
California tattoo artist Daniel Winter, who goes by Winterstone on social media, revealed in July that he had tattooed Jessica Alba and her daughter, Honor.
The post was accompanied by snaps of the tattoos, which took the form of black-and-white eye designs sitting atop infinity symbols on their wrists.
"Matching tattoos with her daughter!" Winter captioned the Instagram post. "What a way to show love with an unforgettable experience! A memory they will share forever!"
Alba's new ink-based adventure comes only shortly after her daughter headed off to college. It could be that the little tattoo was meant as a parting experience between the duo as Honor embarks on her next big adventure.
A few weeks ago, the actor spoke with People about the experience, describing it as an "intense" milestone that she's certainly not prepared for.
"It hasn't really hit me personally, but I think for any parent, just that milestone, it's intense," Alba explained. "I don't think you can prepare for it. You just have to tackle it when it happens."
In an Instagram reel celebrating Honor's birthday in June, Alba said her daughter has "opened my heart and expanded my understanding of love in ways I never knew were possible."
"Whether you need comforting when [you're sick], a hug, or miss home, I'll jump on a plane to see you – I'm here. Always," she wrote.
