Sheffield, UK - As a result of Carly Ejogbamu's decision to cover her entire body in radical tattoos, she's faced significant bullying and trolling from people who think she's a bad mother.
Carly got her first tattoo only six years ago, and instantly fell in love with the process and the look of it. She got her first face inking in 2020 and then bought her own tattoo gun so that she could get experimental.
With an extraordinary 120 tattoos, as well as various other body modifications such as piercings and lip fillers, Carly now has an extraordinarily unique and interesting look.
Tattoos dot her face, covering both cheeks, her neck, and stretching up onto her forehead. A piercing rips through the bridge of her nose as well as the tip, and a large inking covers most of her neck.
Her uniqueness doesn't come without its challenges, however, as many people have called her a "freak" and accused her of being a bad mum.
"I'm not a very technical person and didn't realize my Facebook profile was set to public, so I just shared a selfie of my husband and me," she was cited as saying by the Mirror.
"I came back to my phone 20 minutes later and there were thousands of comments calling me 'it' and 'a freak,'" she said.
"There were comments saying how disgusting I am, how I'm mentally unwell, that my children need to be taken into care. I've had people tell me that I should kill myself and that they would kill themselves if they looked like me."
"It's all because I choose to look different. I am thick-skinned, but if it was anybody else it could have really affected their mental health," Carly warned.
