In today's Viral Video of the Day, a man just wanted to take his dogs for a walk, but one runaway pup had very different plans for their outing!

In the clip, Alex Hernandez heads outside with his golden retriever and a small black-and-white pup when things quickly go off the rails.

While trying to untangle their retractable leashes, Alex accidentally drops one – and the little dog immediately makes a run for it!

Alex takes off after him and eventually manages to step on the leash handle, only for it to break and send the pup running once again.

After even more chasing, Alex finally catches the tiny escape artist and brings the chaotic venture to an end.

One viewer jokingly asked, "You walking them or they walking you?"
