In today's Viral Video of the Day, one cat's daily mission to get to his owner's iced coffee was foiled by a quick reaction.

In the clip, the cat can be seen staring intently at a plastic cup of iced coffee sitting on the coffee table.

After watching it for a moment, he makes his move, hopping off the couch and heading straight for the drink.

But just as he's about to send the coffee flying, his owner quickly snatches it away, leaving the mischievous feline empty-pawed.

"Bc he knows you should be drinking water," one viewer joked.
